Felicia Bender is a numerology expert and author. She’s written multiple books and serves as the resident numerologist for The AstroTwins, who connected me with her in summer 2022.
Because she runs a lean business, she was looking for someone who could step in and play multiple roles, touching on strategy, writing, operations, and customer service.
As with my entrance to my work with Lana Shlafer (who introduced me to the AstroTwins, after I worked on a podcast episode that Lana did with Ophira), I started working on one small project, and then my responsibilities began to expand.
Developing two new premium courses
Felicia had a large library of numerology courses that her customers had been appreciating for years.
Her course and email platform runs on Kartra, which I had extensive experience using during my time with Lana Shlafer.
When we started working together in June, she had her sights set on releasing two significant new premium courses by the end of the year, with an eye toward future expansion.
These offerings became her Numerology Certification program and Numerology for Entrepreneurs.
Both courses feature many hours of video along with a carefully developed curriculum and opportunities for more personal support with Felicia.
I was able to take the curriculum and content Felicia had constructed and build out the courses within Kartra, using the experience I have in developing programs to construct a smooth journey through the course for participants.
We’ve been pleased to welcome people to these programs, and are continuing to hone them in response to customer feedback and needs.
We’re currently expanding the numerology certification program to include an advanced level, which will be released later in 2023.
Providing support on monthly webinars
Throughout 2022, Felicia ran webinars on the first Friday of each month, carefully structuring them to create a year-long journey for participants.
However, it’s challenging to design and run the webinar while managing the email sequences, customer support, and operations side of the webinars. She had run into a few snafus along the way.
I stepped in to take the operations side off her plate, both leading up to the webinar and providing operational support the day of, so that Felicia can show up and focus on teaching.
The webinars received excellent feedback for participants, and by the end of the year we had welcomed more than 5,000 people as attendees.
Helping with customer service
The life of an online business owner is busy enough without having to field every inquiry yourself.
I’ve taken on customer service responsibilities, including affiliate management, that have allowed Felicia to carve out more time and space for the parts of the business only she can deliver, including developing the new premium courses.
